We will never sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

We will never share your conversations with your employer. Maximus offers an employer-sponsored tier so companies can pay for their workers' use. Employers see aggregate, anonymized data on usage and outcomes. They do not see your conversations, your messages, your notes, or anything you said.

We will never share your data with anyone else. Operational service providers (the companies that host our servers and route our messages) are contractually bound to the same standards. The only exception is a legal obligation we have no choice in.

You can delete your data at any time. Ask us to delete your account and we do. Within 30 days, your data is gone from our active systems and from our backups.

We do not run ads. We never will.

We do not design for engagement. No streaks. No leaderboards. No badges. No pushed bait to drive use. No notifications beyond what you asked for. We make no money from how long you spend with us. The longer your sessions, the more our voice costs us. Our incentives are to be useful and get out of your way.

Our revenue is what you pay us, or what your employer pays for your use. Nobody else has a seat at the table.

If we ever change this Promise, we will tell you, and we will give you the chance to leave with your data.
